Santa Claus

So yesterday when i was chatting with Meowie, we came to the topic Santa Claus. Haha Santa Claus is really a part of my childhood as i received gift from 'Santa' without knowing it was actually my mom. Which can make a kid really happy!! :D Bahahaa so today i'm gonna blog about Santa though it's not Christmas yet.  ;P

I still remember the moment when i received present from Santa Claus for the first time(in my memory, cause i don't remember anything when i was a baby =.=) because it's one of my happiest moment in my life. I think i was 2 or 3 years old at that time, aiya i don't really know what was my age but i can walk at that time. So when i woke up in the morning of Christmas Day, I found a present in my Christmas sock! My Christmas sock was hung on a quite high place for the little me so i tiptoed to get it. And then i took a look into the sock and there was a bar of chocolate inside! Omg i was so so so happy at that moment. I ran to the living room and happily showed it to my dad. My parents told me it's from Santa. It was a rainy morning. I still remember that until now. ;)

As i grew older, i started to ask my mom things about Santa Claus. Mummy said Santa lives at the north pole and he gives presents to good kids around the world. Then i wondered, how Santa buys all those presents? I mean, enormous amount of presents! Mummy said Santa will dresses up like a normal human to buy presents and he has the help of many dwarfs. Then i asked my mom, when i will stop getting Christmas gift from Santa Claus? Mummy said i will stop getting gift after 12 years old. But i still get gift from Santa after 12 years old anyway. -.-

My aunts told me and my sister the Santa who give us presents every Christmas was actually our mom but we didn't believe them. Because we watched a Disney film about Christmas and Santa Claus that made us had a stronger belief in Santa Claus.

Funny things happened when i was a child believing in Santa Claus. Like this one. When i was a child, i used to read those monthly magazines for children. The magazine taught me to put a cup of milk beside my bed before i sleep on the night of Christmas eve, so that Santa Claus can drink it when he gives me my Christmas gift, because Santa is exhausted after he went through so many places to give all the presents to children around the world. Guess what! I REALLY DID IT. But the milk was still there on the other morning and i still got my Christmas gift. So i guessed Santa was too busy to drink it. Stupid magazine. Stupid me. AND the same magazine also taught me to pray for what i want for Christmas, and I REALLY DID. And on that year, i really got what i wanted! Hahaa! I was so dumb at that time and i thought my prayer did really worked. So i told my friend about this, but she said she never received Christmas gift from Santa. So i taught her to pray for she wanted for Christmas, but she still didn't get Christmas gift on the next year. -,- Hahaha stupid me.

One more stupid thought when i was a child. On that Christmas eve, my Christmas sock was initially hung outside my wardrobe but on the morning of Christmas day, the sock was put on a chair near my wardrobe. Before this, how i thought Santa give the presents was he just throw the presents into our window and then the present will 'fly' into our Christmas sock, you know, magic. But after this, i had another thought--Ohhh, so Santa Claus really walk into our room? :D

Until one Christmas, my sister and I decided to figure out who is the real Santa Claus that gives us Christmas gift every Christmas. Because we still doubted if what our aunts said is true. Was it a real Santa Claus? The one that has white beard and big belly? Or was it my mom? On that Christmas eve, my sister and I tried our best to stay awake. But i fell asleep at 2am. On the next morning, my sister said it was our mom. She said mummy put the presents next to our bed in the early morning. Hahaa the question that stuck in our head for years finally had an answer. But when we asked our mom if she is the Santa, she denied. Well, she must has her reason. :P

Everything is so wonderful when you're a child. My childhood is so wonderful with Santa Claus though it's not the real Santa. But thanks mommy. ;') I do still believe in Santa Claus! He must be at somewhere else in the world. Maybe now he's preparing gifts for the children! ;D When i have my own kids in the future, i will do what my mom did to me to them. I wanna give them a wonderful childhood like i had. :)
